Fundraiser: Denzel to Europe

0_0_0_0_250_363_csupload_155544Young scholar, Denzel Gregory, was recently chosen because of his excellent academics to rep the USA as a student ambassador in six different countries in Europe this summer. Though this is an excellent opportunity, Denzel’s mom (a single mother of three) has to raise more than $7,000 for her son to take part in this chance of a lifetime.

Beech Street PR, Enya PR, The Unit Band and Bangs Salon will hold a fundraising effort for Denzel at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 21 at Allure, 75 Public Square. For just $10 you could help change a young scholars life.

I Love The Hype!

ilovethehype

We recently did a story on designer, Glen Infante, for a new issue of Canvas available near you! If you’re not hip to Glen, he’s the guy behind I Love The Hype, a sports and culture themed t-shirt line getting plenty of attention from local and national media. If you haven’t seen some of their more popular tees like “Brotha Red Donuts” or “Pay The Man: Josh Cribbs” then be sure to check out their site. It’s perfect for any rabid Cavs or NBA fan!

Take the time to join up at Infante’s other project, Real Cavs Fans or view his body of work here at his personal site. Someone should tell the Cavs, it’s time to start handing out these iLTHY tees instead of the usual fare during this year’s upcoming playoffs. Go Cavs!
