Nationally, there aren’t many black hair salons with a professional face on the web even in bigger markets like Atlanta or Chicago so this is kind of a big step. I look forward to seeing what they come up with content-wise in the coming year as well.

Canvas Magazine – November ‘09 Issue

Our new October issue is currently at the printers! On this months cover, we feature The Ginn Men, Coach Ted Ginn (Ginn Academy / Glenville HS) and his son Ted Ginn Jr of the Miami Dolphins.

As a successful high school football coach, Coach Ginn has been an excellent advocate and example to young African-American males in the Glenville area as well as throughout Cleveland. Together him and his son are leading the way locally in utilizing sports as a vehicle to emphasize education and prepare numerous disenfranchised young people for adulthood.
